ACETYLENE CYLINDER SAFETY
AGM601 Video
Procedures for detection of leaks in cylinders and equipment are demonstrated in this Video.  The use of reverse flow check valves to prevent back flow of acetylene and/or oxygen is stressed and procedures for checking the valves for proper operation are demonstrated by a veteran welder and teacher.  20 minutes.

GAS METAL ARC WELDING
AGM618 Video
Focusing on the step-by-step safety procedures involved in set-up and operation of the Gas Metal Arc welder, this informative Video will stimulate student interest.  Proper clothing, safety and equipment are discussed.  Twelve welds in both flat and vertical positions are performed.  Each weld is accompanied by expert narration and followed by discussion.  The adjustment of shield gas flow, voltage control, and wire speed control are discussed.  40 minutes.

GAS TUNGSTEN ARC WELDING
AGM620 Video
Providing an extensive introduction to GTA (Gas Tungsten Arc) welding is the purpose of this Video.  Step-by-step procedures necessary for safety and set-up of the GTA welder are discussed.  Proper safety, clothing and equipment are identified.  Demonstrations of current, amperage and gas flow adjustments are provided in addition to demonstrations of seven welds in the flat and vertical positions.  Weld demonstrations include maintaining  a paddle, stringer beads, butt weld, T-weld, outside corner, and multi-pass fillet.  Each weld is accompanied by expert narration and is followed by an explanatory discussion.  47 minutes.

OXY-ACETYLENE CUTTING
AGM633 Video
Safety involved in setting-up and shutting-down the oxy-acetylene hand torch and track torch, proper dress and safety equipment, turning on cylinders and adjusting regulators to attain correct working pressures, assembling the torch, and equipment needed for cutting are presented in this Video.  Ten different cuts utilizing various thicknesses of metal with the hand torch and track torch are demonstrated and discussed by a veteran welder and teacher.  42 minutes.

OXYACETYLENE WELDING AND BRAZING
AGM638 Video
Discusses proper safety, dress and operation of oxy-acetylene welding and brazing.  Exceptional video footage (obtained by using state-of-the-art Panasonic chip camera) provides students with step-by-step demonstrations of the proper way to turn on cylinders, set working pressures, and adjust flames for different uses.  A discussion of rods and fluxes utilized in welding and brazing, as well as methods for metal preparation are included.  Welds performed include a paddle, bead with a filler rod, butt-weld, lap-weld, T-weld, and outside corner-weld.  Timing and multi-pass fillet are demonstrated.  Each weld is accompanied by expert narration and followed by an evaluation.

OXYACETYLENE WELDING: SAFETY AND INTRODUCTION
AGM643 Video
The purpose of this excellent Video is to provide students with a thorough introduction to the oxy-acetylene equipment necessary for successful welding and cutting.  Includes set-up and safety, proper care of equipment, name, purpose and installation of each piece of equipment, demonstration of the correct and safe way to set-up a station for operation including setting of working pressures.  27 minutes.

SHIELDED “STICK” METAL ARC WELDING I
AGM652 Video
Features in-depth examination of safety, pre-operational inspection of equipment and proper clothing.  Provides step-by-step procedure for the set-up and adjustment of an AC/DC, a rectifier AC and a standard AC welder.  A Panasonic chip camera equipped with a welder’s lens filter provides close-up footage of nine welds performed in a flat position.  Various techniques are used to demonstrate the welds.  A veteran welding instructor discusses several types of electrodes and corresponding uses as well as providing on-location audio instructions for each weld followed by an evaluation.  35 minutes.

SHIELDED “STICK” METAL ARC WELDING II
AGM653 Video
Features on-location footage of the performance of nine welds including stringer, lap, butt and T-Weld among others performed in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.  Each weld is accompanied by expert narration followed by discussion.  35 minutes.

SHIELDED “STICK” METAL ARC WELDING III
AGM654 Video
Features two methods of testing welds.  Includes preparation of metal for test samples, performing welds, and preparation of specimens for testing.  Tests are made and evaluated.  Includes a summary of essentials for successful welding including metal identification.  35 minutes.
